I have been thinking for a couple of years now, that the most interesting wines in the world today may very well be white, and this beauty only enhances my thinking.

I think this is an extraordinary dry white wine, offering a floral nose with hints of honey, fresh cut hay and lemon zest. On the palate, surprisingly full bodied showing crisp citrus flavors, a wonderful mineral streak throughout, and a laser like acidity on the finish.

Very well done in my opinion, and an exciting new wine to add to my cellar.

You ought to try the 05 Smith Haut Laffite. Really nice stuff. I had it at an offline a few weeks back. I forget who brought it, but it was awesome juice.

Thanks for the heads-up. Wink

Same people who own Huet in Loire own Kiralyudvar, so definitely they know what they're doing. This wine is outstanding both with and without food, which is hard to do.
Have 2 cases of the '06 so you guys should make a trip to Chicago one of those days...
If you can find them, try their sweet Tokaji as well. Pretty spectacular as well.
