Candy and smoke on the nose. This is a lighter syrah with plum, spice, gravel, something floral or herbal, maybe even a bit like lavender and rocky mineral (I think Garagiste likes this flavor in reds because I have noticed in at least the last 3 bottles) with some tannin/astringency and a quite acidic finish. Comes off as a bit rustic.
