I usually give this (I just picked up 3 bottles the other day) and the Cuvee Alexandra Merlot about 4 years or so. They easily go 6 or 7. Is this ready now?? Thoughts?

GDN, it's impressive now but there's certainly no hurry. I think it will be better in a few years after the tannins are more integrated.
I've skipped the last two vintages of this wine. It appears that 2007 is one to buy, as well as the Chardonnay Cuvée Alexandre Atalayas Vineyard.
The 2007 chardonnay you mention is very good, Drank one already and have several more waiting.
I haven't seen the 2007 Cuvee Alexandra Merlot yet, have any of you guys? I've purchased every vintage they've made of the C.A. merlot, back to 1994.
The 05 Cuvee Alexandra Cab was excellent at about 3 1/2 years. Have more waiting.
