Opened one of these last night with a surf & turf, a cowboy ribeye and halibut. I believe I still have 3 or 4 more in the cellar.

Notes of blackberry cobbler and sweet oak. Not exactly transcendent or  multi-dimensional, but still, extremely smooth and satisfying. Tannins, acidity, and fruit have completely integrated; I believe this wine has now reached its peak. I'm sure it will be good for another year or two, but I would not hold it another five.  91 pts.

Nice note, mneeley490.  Sounds nice.  I did a side-by-side recently of two 2007s: Corliss Estates Cab and Betz Pere de Famille.  I preferred the Corliss and it would've been interesting ot have this Baer in there.  I agree - they're at peak, or near it in the case of the Betz.
