blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Syrah

delicious and juicy... unpretentious palate, runs the gambit between dark & red fruits... cherry, strawberry, some blackberry and slight plum... sweetness of fruit, not necessarily oak, with nice spice on the nose and finish, full bodied and very fruit forward. a QPR bargain and another solid, quality wine from Core

i dont have enough experience to really say, ive only been drinking Core wines maybe 2-3 years so theyve all been young. that said, they show tremendously well in youth for my palate. alot of times with Rhone varietals, i get turned off by stewed fruit tones, and i would say these wines tend to show the opposite. the same goes for the majority of central CA Syrah's in my experience, but that being said, i havent had a Core wine i didn't like.
