-- TN reflects Day 4 --
NOSE: dark, grapey nose with considerable french oak presence, as well as tree bark, tar, and a hint of mollasses. Hint of v/a too.
BODY: superfine particulate matter; ruby-magenta color of medium-deep depth; medium bodied.
TASTE: well, this finallly has a nice acid/tannin balance on its 4th day of being open (first 2 days were very tannic, didn't taste on Day 3). It's somewhat boring, but not really offensive in any way ... kind of reminds me of a cheap Cabernet blend from Spain with flavors of oak, anise, dark fruits, and a hint of manchego cheese funk; short finish (20 sec.).
