This is as pure an expression of Syrah as you can find. This wine is almost full-bodied, This wine has none of the rustic, brooding notes of most of the other wines in this winery's portfolio, but is all about bright, brambly red berries. Devoid of secondary varietal characteristics, this is nevertheless a sweet juicy taste treat.
Definitely a B, but the GPQ (guilty pleasure quotient) keeps me coming back for more, so I'll have to upgrade it to a B+. For $9.50 the QPR is very good.
