A newbie question: I was wondering when will the 2004 ratings be available in here? The white wine from downunder is already in the market but I couldn't find any TN from here.
In fact, I'm especially interested in the 2004 Cloudy Bay Sauv Blanc. Any comments? Thanks.

From what I can tell, the first batch of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc ratings come in around November of the same calendar year. However, it looks like Cloudy Bay usually gets rated in the following year (i.e., 2005 for the 2004 vintage).

Any word on how 2005 is likely to be? My local Costco still has pallets of the 2004 Kim Crawford (not that I'm complaining)

from my experience 04' new zealand sauv blanc is very good. i have not had bad 04' sauv blanc yet.

Agree. When NZSB has a good year (04,02), almost every producer delivers. Makes shopping easy.
