Blackberries, raspberries, chocolate on the nose. Wonderful mouthfeel. This wine was delicious right out of the bottle, with dark lush fruit and raspberries but opened over the evening, revealing some cranberries, chocolate, peppers. Maybe a bit of cedar in the background with a nice finish. HUGE but not overextracted, with enough structure to develop for a few years.
Not so good a match with my fish dish (as expected), but fantastic with my companion's black bean, pepper, cumin chili. Paid 60 dollars (restaurant). Seriously killer PSirah.
