First, thanks for the many notes on the GREAT wines of Alsace, and thanks for this note.
I think I will hold mine a little longer, but might pull one for Thanksgiving.

This wine seemed to be on a fast track to maturity. I tasted this blind, right after a Z-H from 1997, and I guessed it would be a few years older than it actually was.
My notes are from an Alsace BYO offline tasting last Wednesday (11/1/06). It was a great experience, one that has prompted me to seek out many more Alsatian wines.
