2002 Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris Vieilles Vignes -- beautiful medium-gold colour; great nose of very ripe fruit, mostly pear; pours thick and slow, loaded with ripe fruit flavour, pear, honey, mango, quince, very rich; long fruity finish. Just a little bit low in acidity so it's certainly not what you'd call refreshing, but still delicious to drink today. 92 pts. Would be nice with a pear tarte tatin dessert, I think.
