2002 Behrens and Hitchcock Dixieme Recolte

A veritable barn-burner of a wine. Rich, redolent notes of brandied cherries/raisins fill the nose of this voluptuos wine, which gives way to a mid-palate of dark fruit, and a spicy port-like finish. A slightly different, but none-the-less over the top B&H effort. Don't get into a long conversation on your cellular phone near an generous pour of this wine unless you want to set your 'fro on fire! Not for the faint of heart. . . 92 points from me!
