The wine had a rich nose of baked fruit and cinnamon with a little citrus. On the palate, the wine is rich, yet also restrained. This is not another Australian fruit bomb, yet it is not austere. It has acidity and tannin to age well. Ripe berry and dark fruit flavors are deep enough to wait for this wine to meld a little more. 90 now, may pick up a point or two with time.
