Any fly fishermen or women here? This is a bottle for you with a beautiful trout fly embossed on the front label.
Aerated and decanted for one hour. 14.1% alcohol, medium ruby color, appears to be unfiltered with a bit of sediment. Nose of light american oak and cedar. Primary Rutherford cabernet flavors are mostly subdued now with secondary characteristics present. Very enjoyable after one hour with black cherries, a very long elegant finish and you hated to see the bottle gone. Reminded me of earlier BV Private Reserves. 92 points
