Decanted for one hour then followed for another 2 hours.
Elegant and classic. The nose has campfire, dark syrah fruits, a hint of menthol and a hint of bacon/Rhone funk. Medium-full bodied palate with similar notes as the nose. Long finish with lots of moderately firm, but not hard, tannins. Not a showy wine, but very enjoyable. I enjoyed this a lot more than the Ex Voto Blanc also consumed tonight, though the technical scores are similar. 93.5
