Nose of raisin, cassis and burnt wood. Blackberry fruit on the palate. Medium bodied. Tannins are a little sharp. Perhaps a little acidic, but overall, an fairly balanced wine. Nice clear purple color. I like this wine. I think it will improve with time and look forward to drinking my other 5 btls. For less than $12.00, its a great QPR. Its an 89 for me.
