Dark maroon colour to violet rim. Aromas of vanilla, raspberry, cassis, minerals, lavender. Pretty nose that fills the room. Medium-full bodied with raspberry and blueberry. Moderate finish, ~30-35s with crushed berry fruits, and a hint of roasted coffee beans. Needs to be decanted for sediment. 89 points (10/11/2004).
