Hello folks!
Nose was a light floral with a little citrus mingled at the back. Color was a pale, clear yellow, with fast legs giving the impression of a light weight wine, but texture was more towards a medium weight. Tasted citrus first, and then some nice apple hanging out as well. A buttery feel up front and a buttery tasting finish, too. I found a slight hint of lime hiding a few sips out, but this could easily be missed. As it warmed it seemed a faint oak could be detected, but barely.
Mild and smooth. Went great with broiled chicken breasts! Had some rice pilaf with salt, sugar, red pepper flecks, onion specks, parsley, garlic, soy sauce, and turmeric. Vegetables were boiled potato pieces and chopped broccoli.
This was a very pleasant wine, but I'm not sure it's worth the current $40+ dollars for a bottle.
Sincerely,
Mark, N.H.
