Tried this wine a few nights ago and was literally blown away by it.

The nose is absolutely captivating with loads of currants, dark fruits, along with a touch a of leather and oak. It is medium bodied, smooth and literally seamless from beginning to end. The finish is incredibly long lasting close to a minute. Not decanted.

I would highly recommend the 1998 to anyone and would personally rate it as one of my top ten favorites. Cost is $60 CDN here in Alberta but it is tough to find.

Nice note! I agree!

I tried a few on release and enjoyed them, and have been holding on to the last several to see what happens with age. I was thinking 10 years would be a good time.
