1998 Sherwin Family Cab

One of the better 98's and at 8 years of age, drinking very nicely. Not the most complex Sherwin I have ever had but had great fruit and showed no green flavors. This one would be fun to through into blind tastings as I think it would surprise.

Great earthy mountain fruit nose that jumped out the glass after a splash decanting. No signs of sediment (did they filter?). The midpalate was very smooth and with some layers but not too many. The finish was good and left you asking for more.
