Dark purple/black colour; opaque. Aromas of blackcurrant, eucalyptus, vanilla. Full-bodied, tannic, good extraction, with black fruit - crushed blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, black licorice, camphor. Moderate-long finish, with black fruit, liquid licorice. 91 points (07/24/2005).

This was my surprise wine of the night. I didn't know what to expect from this producer, What I experienced was fabulous. Blackcurrant, spice, cola, and that cough syrup (eucalyptus) nose with full body and a long finish. Very food friendly. LP92-93
