This is the parcel selection cuvée from Jamet that basically never makes it to the U.S. That's a shame - it's killer stuff.
Dark and brawny, with terrific flesh, and loaded with fig, braised chestnut, tar and mineral notes. Has the power of the vintage, with the structure still very evident, but is also elegant for a Côte Brune in general (and Jamet's style is typically pretty racy). Drink now through 2016. 95 points.
