A friend brought this over for dinner on Saturday night to go with the pasta bar my wife put together for my son's 8th bday.

"Loredan Gasparini"
60% cab, 25% cab franc, 10% merlot and 5% malbec. 13% alchohol
Full bodied with an intense earthy boquet which blew off after a few minutes to reveal some nice black cherry aromas and even some leather. Very dark in color with subtle hints of currant and some burnt fruits in the background. I thought this was a very intense wine which I think should improve. The tannins were very pronounced. We did not decant. We just opened the bottles (2) for an hour or so. It really began to smooth out after another hour.

**edited for spelling. I hat when that happens! Eek
