Served blind by Jean-Paul Jamet, I guessed '97.

Plush and smoky, this is ripe and supple, with lots of plum, cherry and currant fruit, and the telltale Jamet sanguine and olive finish. Starts big and fleshy, but has a twinge of firmness on the finish, with a faint dusty note. Still needs to soften a touch. Drink now through 2011. 91 points.
