This Dry white consisting of Sauv Blanc and Semillon was a real eye opener for me. I drink very little white Bdx. This was a classic golden color without being too amberish. The nose consisted of white flowers and nutty aromas. The nutty hazelnut flavor followed through onto the palate. The wine is at maturity. I decanted this and I am glad I did. As the wine warmed up in the decanter the finish extended to a longer creamier aftertaste. It was a great match with a stellar example of the few remaining areas that contain sustainable sea bass. I may try and find a recent vintage to compare to this 16yr old version. 90+ pts.

Had this bone dry white again a few days ago and it is was even better than the last bottle. This time we got a combination of meyer lemon and butterscotch with a hint of ripe apple. On the finish there was a small amount of salinity which kept you going back for more. Drank out of burgundy stems and it accentuated the nose. 91-92pts.
