Opened bottle an hour before going out on Valentines Day 2007. Bottle levels seemed a bit low - about shoulder level... foil capsule was in excellent condition and cork showed no signs of seepage.

Scent: From the bottle vegetal scent of tobacco.
In the glass a nice bouquet of fruit mixed with tobacco.
Taste: Wonderful mouth feel, very velvety and smooth with well integrated tannins. Didn’t show much on the backend though.
Color: Still dark, almost brown, with signs of clear bricking on the rim.

Had wine over the course of our two hour meal. Wine showed a slight decline in quality by the end of the second hour. Perhaps its past its prime, or is in a dumb phase.
