1994 Evesham Wood Willamette Valley Pinot Noir | Wine Spectator Forums

Opened tonight with roasted chicken. A wonderful Oregon pinot that is slowly starting to fade but still drinking well. Nice berry and earth nose and some cherry and raspberry flavors. If you have any of these, I would not hold them much longer. 12.5% alcohol.

Ahh, the days of sub-13% alchohol! What a wonderous time it was! Gone forever...

very true, my friend, and it's too bad - especially when i see some 03 and 04 OR pn's hitting 14+% - yikes...the last 2 nights we have had an 8% alcohol Leitz riesling and this 12.5% evesham...it has been a really nice change of pace

I had my final bopttle of the 1993 Cuvee J a year or so agoi and it was showing very well, not at all tired.
