1994 Chateau Lynch-Bages

Had this tonight. Opened it and decanted at around 3PM. Served after 6.
Wine opened up as it was served. This was not the greatest vintage in Bordeaux, but I thought this wine was really superior, except the finish was on the light side.
It was smooth and supple and classy. It was a deep color with medium tannins.
Some cedar, some oak, some mild fruit, and actually some plum flavor.
It was really enjoyable.
