The "off" Bordeaux vintage of 1992 produced a lot of thin & weak wines, but Angelus was not one of them. This fully mature bottle, had the beautiful rich color of a mature dark purple with a tinge of ruby red & made nice presentation in the glass. The nose was noticeably Bordeaux with tastes of espresso, chocolate, and dark fruits. However, the finish included just a very little green pepper, which caused me to reduce the score to 86 points.

I think the Futures price was $17 per bottle; a far cry from the Angelus prices of today.
