Very expressive, with olive, briar, mesquite and dried currant notes. Lots of roasted game, morel and pepper too. Still solid grip on the finish. Drink now through 2014. 93 points.

Thanks for all your tasting notes.
I noticed in your blog, that you had tasted the 1994 Alain Voge Cornas VV. I have a bottle in my cellar and was wondering about your tasting notes on that wine.

The '94 was one of the better wines in that flight of Cornas. Not as big as the '90, but plenty of secondary aromas and nice mature flavors...I'd say pull the cork, and don't be shy about decanting it, it's a sturdy wine.
