Dark ruby red to a pink/orange rim. Aromas of spice box, cherry, loam, cigar box, and cedar. Medium-full bodied, with cherry, currant and cigar box on the palate. Tannins are fully integrated. Short finish, ~20s. Elegant, classy wine. Ready to drink. Would have been better with a longer finish. 87 points (10/16/2004).

Sounds like a lot of 1988 Bordeaux. I'm auctioning off a number of mine. Yet another over-rated Bordeaux vintage.

It was still a nice drink, and an experience to taste. I was very happy to drink this with DoktaP with some excellent striploins.
