I can't imagine having a cellar so deep that some wines just get forgotten, but some people apparently have such cellars, and are kind enough to dust off their long-forgotten oldies for tastings.
This wine is still holding on. Well-aged but still loaded with thick, jammy fruit, apricot marmalade, some tropical fruits, caramel/ maderized oh so slightly, heavy on palate. The finish, however, is short and tartens up. That might be due to the wine's advanced age. Still, it's quite drinkable and merits a score somewhere in the middle high 80's.
