Upon pouring, a slight pepper but more chocolate cherry nose was present. Hugs the glass nicely with dark ruby colors. First taste was same as the nose, chocolate cherry with moderate tannins and the after taste was a smooth, clean mellow cedar.
Was very good with the grilled pork tenderloin we had for dinner but would also go well with wild game and other red meats.
For about $13, this is a great value for the money!
