I'm not sure what the difference is, but I believe I had the Diamante in a restaurant a couple of months ago. The two guys I was with were shocked that a silver/blanco could be enjoyed as a sipper. I was never much of a tequila guy until visiting two places in Jalisco a few years back. Getting to taste raw agave, then cooked agave, then the product in various stages of aging was an eye-opener.
What made the Dobel I own a sure buy was that it came in a miniature guitar case that looks really cool.
