Saw John Pizarelli perform Midnight McCartney at Birdland last night. Highly enjoyable! Continues 7/31 and 8/1.
John's regular quartet plus string, brass and woodwind players and a trio of back up singers (including his wife Jess and their daughter Madeline) perform the upcoming album of reinterpreted post-Beatles McCartney songs.
