looking forward to reading your notes on these as i have a number of them. Make sure you give them plenty of time to breathe - in my experience with the charvin, usseglio & vieux donjon they open with a lot of funk that takes 2-3 hours to blow off.


Thanks for the comments, E. Given that some of these may still be on the young side and that I don't have 13 decanters I may double decant all of them 2 hours prior to service. I figure the air can't hurt at this stage. It's also nice when the last person to get a pour doesn't end up with sludge in their glass.
