2006 Lopez de Heredia Viña Tondonia Reserva Rioja
An acquired taste M.
Bought 4, opened one tonight, ordered 3 more. It’s more open to drink and more ripe flavours than the 04 or 01.
Similar thing happened to me 2 months ago. Purchased two, drank one, purchased two more the next day. Probably the best young Tondonia Reserva I’ve had.
2 x 2013 B. Levet “La Chavaroche”
2 x 2016 B. Levet “La Chavaroche”
1998 Chapoutier Le Pavilion
2006 Chapoutier Le Pavilion
2016 Jean Foillard Morgon “Corcelette”
2 x 2017 Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc
Yeah I think it’s more ready to drink than the other recent vintages. Comparable to 2005 in its approachability.
