I concur. I didn't have the 2005 so I had nothing previous to go by, but I thought the 2006 was thin and lacking substance, something I wouldn't have expected from a fairly young Rhone wine. It's definitely not a case buy for me, let alone 2-3 bottles.
On another note, I thought the 2005 Hess Cab was a decent QPR.
