I am not sure about that. Gas is caused by indigestion. The only time I get gas is when I overeat. Otherwise it does not matter what food I eat. Not even Saurkraut gives me gas.
Lots of fiber in these green veggie items, much of which (the cell walls, that animal tissue don't have) is indigestible to us, hence the gas. Crank down a medium sized bowl of all-bran, and you'll see this in action, just don't plan having a nice, intimate evening alone with your sig. other for a couple of days. If this kind of roughage doesn't affect you, you're definately lucky.
