UPS wine shipping

This was interesting. I just got approved to ship wine via UPS. In order to do it, I had to meet with a UPS rep who, upon hearing that I had a license to buy and sell wine, physically gave me a Wine Shipper Agreement to sign--I couldn't get that agreement other than in person. She helped me sign up, online, for a UPS account. Then I waited a couple of days to receive free "Must be over 21; requires adult signature" stickers from UPS. That's it! Now I can ship, compliant with UPS rules, which is a relief.

But, get this: UPS didn't ask to see my license; she just relied on my oral statement that I had one. I insisted that the rep take a copy of it, however. The process struck me as very casual.

I thought some of you might be interested in that experience, given all the posts about shipping issues.
