Pinot noir from Willamette Valley, Yamhill-Carlton District, Oregon. Intense ruby red color. Aroma of flowers and damp earth. Medium bodied, 13.2% abv. Gunpowder, roses, earth, cherry marmalade, raspberries. Not nearly ready to drink, still tannic and a bit unhinged, with good acidic bite. All the elements are there and I think it will come together with cellaring time. Medium finish. Hold.
