Medium yellow/gold in colour. Pronounced nose of honey, wood and oxidized apples. Oily and viscous mouth feel with flavours of roasted citrus fruits, oak and more honey. Hints of spice and nuts as well. Medium to full bodied. Rich and complex. Very tasty now but will age and improve I think. Excellent. 91+ (91 pts.)

I liked this a bit more than you did when we tasted it this summer at the winery. The bottle had been open for a while. I used the terms "honey" and "viscous" also. (93+)

Beautiful nose of spice, dark red fruits, burnt rubber

What's not to love about the smell of burnt rubber?
