Not sure you are talking about Leoville Barton or the overall vintage quality. If you are talking about overall vintage quality, I do think that 2000 is the best Left Bank vintage out of the vintages you mentioned but like 2005 better for the Right Bank. Here is what I wrote a little over a year ago:
In terms of overall vintage quality for the reds. I don't think it is a stretch to say that 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2009 are the 4 best vintages in the last 10 years. Of those 4, it is my opinion that for Right Bank wines should be ranked as follows (starting with the best): 2005, 2009, 2000, 2003. For Left Bank wines I would rate the vintages as follows: 2000, tie between 2005 and 2009 and then 2003. The 2003 was in 4th place on both sides of the Gironde.
