no, Trump is the eldest elected Republican president. Reagan and Bush were in their 60's when elected. Biden and Bernie will be the oldest ever if elected.
I thought the Dems were the woke party and would elect a diverse candidate. Republicans don't claim to be woke.

I seem to recall an African American who served two terms as President. And, several "woke" candidates (openly gay; openly Buddhist), which is more than one can say about that other party. Seems like more diverse to me, but that's just "a hunch"
