I had the same reaction after drinking the Ghost Block 2006 (regular release), and then checking Laube's rating and tasting note. The Ghost Block 2006 was one of my favorite Napa Cabs last year, and I bought a bunch for my cellar. Then again, my preferred style of wine is different than Laube's. The question is: Do Jim's ratings subjectively reflect his preferred style? Or do they objectively reflect a wine's quality?
