In early October--will be travelling with a (small) group so don't know how much control of our agenda we'll have. I'm sure we'll be able to get to a few adequate (or better) wine stores... We won't be in Brun di Mont itself, but I'm wondering if buying some of these amazing 1997s (we WILL be in super Tuscan territory) there will be worth it--in terms of selection, price and hassle after dragging or shipping home. Am I better off tasting there and continuing to scour local sources at home for bottles to cellar? Would ultimately like to have at least a case's worth of these wines (not necessarily the same one)...Anyone with any experience in this regard??
I'm new to the forum, but thank you for any help--here's to tuscan wines!
