Ticket prices have nothing to do with player salaries. They are set based on what people will pay. They are never going to go down in a meaningful way.
NFL lockout - I dont think there will be many, if any games missed. Maybe a preseason game or two which might get eliminated in the agreement anyway. I dont really care since the dolphins yet again failed to get a qb so its going to be groundhog day for me. Another boring 8-8 season. Yeah.
NBA - I think this one will be contentious. I have read that many of the NBA owners also own NHL teams and see what the missed season did for their profits and cost certainty. The players are willing to take some of the burden but dont want to share the cost of the owners purchasing the teams. It's a shame this is coming on the heels of one of the most watched seasons ever. Even the draft, without a true star was highly rated. I really hope these douches dont f it up and cancel a whole season.
