I think that Gary Oldman is an excellent actor.
"Bram Stoker's Dracula." IMO, an amazing piece of work by Oldman.
Agreed. He and Jean Reno, along with a young Natalie Portman, were outstanding in "The Professional."
Embarrassed to admit that I have yet to see "The Professional," though it is now at the top of my must-see-soon list. Oldman, Reno (who is a wonderful actor), and Portman together? Has to be good!
Isn't The Professional now called "Leon"?
In any event, a great movie. It's almost embarrasing to sense the sexual tension that Natalie Portman puts out (no pun intended) in that movie. She was like 12 years old; her first role, I believe.
Jean Reno does a great job, if a bit typecast. Oldman just shines in every scene he is in.
