That bottle was incredibly disappointing given the 100 points from Parker. Opened as a bottle of Sun-Maid raisins soaked in vodka. Seriously that was ALL it tasted like.
Vinoevelo did say that after a few weeks of it being open it blossomed into something all together better and nuanced, bitter walnut, layers of raisin, dried fig, candied peel etc...
Like fut says, this is something to have in a small cordial glass every few night over the course of a month or two and watch the changes.
