Another beet receipt:
Skin and roast beets in a 180 deg oven for 45 minutes.
In the meantime take a equal amount of onions and slice into 5mm thick rounds. Cook the onions in a frypan over a very low heat whilst the beets are cooking.
Take the beets out of the oven and slibe into 5mm rounds combine in the frypan with the onions. Cook for another 10 minutes (the onions will pick up the colour of the beets)
Serve as a side dish with roast pork or duck.
